Tgdn5/8 – : All Spirit captures Friday night feature at Tioga Downs

All Spirit and Jimmy Marohn Jr.
captured the featured $16,500 fillies and mares open pace on Friday night at
Tioga Downs. Leaving from post position number one in a six horse field, Marohn
settled in third as Queen Of Royalty (Corey Braden) led the field by an opening
quarter in 26.

All Spirit quickly pulled from the
three hold at the three eight’s pole and controlled the pace by a half in 56.
Down the backside headed towards three quarters, Runaway Tray (Mike Merton)
pulled first up against all spirit through three quarters in 1:24. Around the
final turn, All Spirit was asked for more by Marohn and she responded opening
up on the field with ease to win by open lengths in 1:52.1. Up Front Kellie Jo
(Jim Meittinis) closed late for second, while Runaway Tray (Mike Merton) hung
on for third.

Judy Lanpher trains the 6-year old
daughter of Bettor’s Delight – Spirit Of Ivy for Larry Lanpher of Winter Park, FL.
The win was the fifth in thirteen seasonal starts for All Spirit, and with the
win increased her seasonal earnings to more than $51,000.

Tgdn5/8 – Tioga Downs to offer $5,000 guaranteed pick four on Sunday.

Tioga Downs in conjunction with the
United States Trotting Association’s strategic wagering program will once again
be offering a $5,000 guaranteed pick four pool this Sunday (July 8). Post time
for the eleven race card is set for 1:30 pm and the pick four wager will begin
on race number eight.

Tioga Downs races this coming
weekend on Friday and Saturday at 6:50 pm, and Sunday afternoon at 1:30 pm, for
